Services can be delivered at a PACE Center, home or a contracted medical facility. Care is delivered inside and outside a PACE Center. The members of the Interdisciplinary Team are always ready to care for participants all hours of the day.

UESP will provide care as needed, in the participant’s home or in one of our contract facilities. Care is provided all through the day, evening and weekend hours. When emergencies occur and you are in need of hospital care, the participant will be admitted to Boston Medical Center. PACE also maintains contracts with skilled nursing facilities and/or nursing homes for those times when necessary short or long-term stays are needed. The PACE team would continue to provide care as long as the participant is enrolled in the PACE program.
A participant must receive all needed health care, including primary care and specialist physician services (other than emergency services), from the PACE organization or from an entity authorized by the PACE organization.
PACE participants may be fully and personally liable for the costs of unauthorized or out-of-PACE program agreement services.
